Surfing has taken John McCarthy, the three times Irish Senior Champion, around the world. Starting in County Waterford, Ireland, he has surfed in Indonesia, Brazil, Japan, South Africa, Morocco, Mexico and many other destinations. He is now based in Lahinch, Co. Clare on the West Coast of Ireland.
